The Advantages of Alumina ceramics lined in cyclone 

1.Low resistance when running . 

 The surface is smooth and resistant to rust when alumina ceramics lined cyclone which is much better 

than seamless steel tube with convex surface in a spiral line

2.corrosion resistance,anti fouling. Due to the ceramic layer for neutral steel (a - AL2O3), .Thus has 

resistance to acid and alkali and seawater corrosion, and has the characteristics such as scale prevention.

3. Good abrasion resistance. The ceramics liner as lining layer in hydrocyclone is Moh’s hardness 9 grade,

so it have high abrasion resistance to the materials handled in metallurgy, electric power, mine, coal and 

other industries .Industrial operation has proved that: the wear life is ten times ,even dozens of times.longer 

than hardened steel 

4:.Lower project cost : wear-resisting ceramics is cost performance, much cheaper than glass-ceramic tube and 

alloy pipe.

5:. High temperature and good thermal shock resistance(www.chemshun.com ) ,Since the corundum ceramics (a-AL2O3), 

as a single solid crystal structure. Thus composite pipe can operate normally within -50--700 ℃ temperature fields. 

Information line shrinkage factor 6-8 × 10-6 / 0C, around about 1/2 of steel pipe.
