The characteristics of ceramic-rubber composite plates
The rubber and ceramic two-in-one liner is a composite material that combines the elasticity of rubber with the wear resistance of ceramic. Its characteristics are mainly reflected in the following aspects:
1. Utstanding wear resistance. Ceramics themselves possess extremely high hardness and wear resistance. Especially ceramic blocks made of materials like alumina can effectively resist the erosion and grinding of materials. During the operation of the liner, the ceramic layer is in direct contact with the materials. With its hard surface, it can significantly extend the service life of the liner and reduce the frequency of replacement due to wear, making it particularly suitable for scenarios involving the transportation of materials with strong abrasiveness such as ores and sandstones.
2. Excellent impact resistance. Rubber has outstanding elasticity and toughness. When materials impact the liner, the rubber layer can act as a buffer and absorb the impact force, avoiding the problem of ceramic being prone to cracking due to its brittleness. This combination of rubber and ceramic enables the liner to maintain the wear resistance advantage of ceramic while relying on the elasticity of rubber to protect the integrity of the overall structure, enhancing the reliability of the liner in complex working conditions.
3. Excellent protective performance. The liner is installed on the inner wall of the equipment, such as silos, chutes, pipes, etc., effectively isolating the material from direct contact with the equipment body, preventing the equipment from being worn and corroded by the material. The rubber layer also has certain sealing and shock absorption properties, which can reduce the vibration and noise of the material during transportation to the equipment, lower the operational wear and tear of the equipment, and extend the overall service life of the equipment.
4. Easy to install. Ceramic rubber composite plates are usually designed in a modular way and are relatively light in weight. During installation, there is no need for complex construction techniques. They can be fixed to the surface of the equipment through bolts, adhesives, etc., significantly reducing the installation and replacement time and improving construction efficiency. Meanwhile, the combination of rubber and ceramic is tight and firm, and it is unlikely to have delamination or detachment during long-term use, ensuring the stable performance of the lining plate.
